भाषा शिक्षण और मूल्यांकन का संबंध

 वर्तमान में भाषा शिक्षण और मूल्यांकन के संबंधों को अभिव्यक्त करने के लिए निम्नलिखित तीन मुहावरेदार उक्तियों का प्रयोग किया जाता है -

भाषा शिक्षण के संदर्भ में मूल्यांकन के बारे में इस उक्ति के विद्वानों का मानना है कि भाषा शिक्षक को शिक्षण संबंधी कार्यों पर ही फोकस करना चाहिए और अधिगम संबंधी गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देना चाहिए उन्हें परीक्षण संबंधी नीतियां बनाने में समय बर्बाद नहीं करना चाहिए |

यह भाषा शिक्षण में मूल्यांकन संबंधी दूसरी धारणा है इसके अनुसार भाषा शिक्षकों को मूल्यांकन में सहभागी होना चाहिए , किंतु वह सहभागिता अंतरक्रिया आदि के रूप में होनी चाहिए न कि उसके लिए कोई विशेष कड़े नियम बनाए जाएं । इसमें परीक्षण और त्रुटि विश्लेषण के संबंध में सुधारात्मक प्रतिपुष्टि (corrective feedback), शैली मूल्यांकन और प्रतिक्रिया आदि पर बल दिया गया है ।

Fonfs pedagogy के अनुसार मूल्यांकन में शिक्षकों की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण होती है इससे अधिगम प्रक्रिया सुचारू रूप से चलाई जा सकती है विद्यार्थियों का समय समय पर किया जाने वाला मूल्यांकन उनके अधिगम प्रक्रिया में संवर्धन करता है |

Focus on forms (FonFs)

FonFs corresponds to traditional grammar instruction where attention to form takes precedence over meaning:

“In focus on forms (FonFs; Long, 1991, 1996) language is broken down into discrete elements (e.g., words, grammar rules, notions, functions), which are then taught item by item in a linear, additive fashion. FonFs, therefore, constitutes a traditional approach to language teaching involving a linear syllabus, instructional materials, and corresponding procedures designed to present and practice a series of linguistic items. In this type of instruction, the learners’ primary attention is directed at linguistic form, but meaning is not excluded.”
