पाइथन में String literals

 String literals: single या double quotes के अंतर्गत दिए जाने वाले मूल्य String literals के अंतर्गत आते हैं, जैसे-

“Mohan”

“Position-01”

‘UP012’       आदि।

स्ट्रिंग के अंतर्गत पाठ (text) को संग्रहीत (store) किया जाता है। अतः पाठ सामग्री की लंबाई में प्रयुक्त लाइनों की दृष्टि से इनके दो प्रकार किए जा सकते हैं-

a). Single line String- वे Strings जिनमें केवल एक लाइन का पाठ हो, जैसे-

my_name= “Hi, my name is Mr. X”

b). Multi line String- वे Strings जिनमें एक से अधिक लाइनों का पाठ हो, जैसे-

my_Intro= “Hi, my name is Mr. X. I live in New Delhi. This is the Calital of India. India is a great country. ….”

Multiple line String का निर्माण दो प्रकार से किया जाता है-

·     प्रत्येक लाइन के अंत में black slash का प्रयोग करना, जैसे-

my_Intro= “Hi, my name is Mr. X. \

I live in New Delhi. \

This is the Calital of India.\

India is a great country. ….”

·     triple quotation marks का प्रयोग करना, जैसे-

my_Intro= '''Hi, my name is Mr. X.

I live in New Delhi.

This is the Calital of India.

India is a great country. …. '''
